PAT CARTER
Ministry Director
"I was born in Roanoke and lived in Roanoke County all my life. The oldest of 5 children, I grew up on a small farm near Catawba, raising all kinds of animals and growing all our food. After graduating from high school, I went to VWCC earning an Early Childhood Education Degree and worked for Roanoke County for 22 years then as an office manager for 9 years and now, formally, in minstry for 13 years where I hope to stay until retirement. I have worked in some form of ministry for over 40 years mostly with Pre-K and elementary age but involved with all ages. I came to Keystone in 2008 after graduating from Hollins University. I thoroughly enjoy my job and love being a part of the many participants' lives, sharing donated food, clothing, knowledge of gardening, sewing and the life of Christ, is very rewarding."
